Google Launches AI First India 2025 to Boost Startup Growth

Google has revealed that applications are now available for its initiative tailored for India - the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First India 2025 program, aimed at a nation that is rapidly evolving through technology and innovation

Focused on bolstering India's expanding AI ecosystem by assisting startups from Seed to Series A phases, the company’s official statement mentioned that startups concentrating on Agentic AI and Multimodal AI are particularly invited to apply. The due date for submissions is June 30.

“As a part of our continued efforts to support this vibrant ecosystem and contribute to the broader goals of the IndiaAI Mission, with the support of MeitY Startup Hub, we are excited to open the applications for the Google for Startups Accelerator: AI First program in India”.

In this accelerator program, Google announced that the chosen startups will receive premier mentorship from Google teams, including those from DeepMind, Cloud, Android, Play, Ads, and more. Startups will be provided with personalized assistance tailored to their objectives and advancements, overseen by committed startup success managers.

Participants will receive complimentary Cloud TPUs, cloud credits (if qualified), and the newest AI tools and models from Google. They will also receive practical assistance in incorporating advanced AI models like Gemini, Gemma, Imagen, and Veo to address technical difficulties.
