According to the company, Srinivasan will assume control of these two regions' leadership to foster greater synergies, encourage the exchange of best practises, deliver consistent and exceptional client experiences throughout the client journey, and scale Wipro's capacity to seize new growth opportunities.
As the Managing Director for Southeast Asia, he joined Wipro in January 2022 and oversaw the consolidation of strategic transformative client engagements while enhancing Wipro's talent pool and brand recognition.
His innovations accelerated Wipro's company expansion and revenue expansion across crucial regional markets. He is a member of the Wipro Global Leadership Team and serves on the boards of Wipro's important Asian subsidiaries and recent acquisitions (Capco, Rizing, and Designit).
Anis Chenchah, Chief Executive Officer-APMEA, Wipro Limited and Member of Wipro Executive Board said, “Southeast Asia and India are two high-growth markets for us with obvious synergies, offering best practices sharing, opportunities for cross-fertilisation, and talent development. Badri has delivered a great performance in Southeast Asia and has shown excellent leadership traits. I am confident that the scope of his extended role will bolster our impact even further.”
Despite having a significant presence in India, Wipro has also made a name for itself in Southeast Asia over the past 20 years by collaborating with top public and private sector businesses in a variety of industry sectors on business transformation and digital initiatives. According to the company, Wipro is also present in the area through its acquired companies, Capco, Designit, Topcoder, and Rizing.
Badri Srinivasan, Business Head-India and Southeast Asia, Wipro Limited said, “Enterprises across India and Southeast Asia are looking at pragmatic approaches to strengthen their market leadership and attain the desired goals of business transformation leveraging technology, going beyond cost savings. I look forward to strengthening Wipro’s positioning in these regions as a purpose-driven value orchestrator for clients, partners, and employees.”
